Founded in 1982 by Christian university students and leaders from the 2nd Presbyterian Church of Carapicuíba, Ruama's mission is rooted in the biblical phrase "She who received grace, compassion, and mercy" from Hosea 2:1, the Ruama Project embodies these core values in its approach to serving this underprivileged area.
