Food and Medical Supplies

Morning Light's students do not have secure access to food or medical care. Often, their families lack the funds to provide daily meals to every member of the family. Your gift will ensure a child receives nutritious food and basic medical care.

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Morning Light shares the gospel and meets the tangible needs of impoverished women and children by providing child education, skills training for women, and bringing health services to the needy. Over 200 widows, single mothers, and orphans in the slums outside of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, benefit from their tutoring classes for impoverished children and women's groups. Along with these activities, the beneficiaries receive need-based support as short-term or one-time gifts.

Children are given healthy meals, medical care, school supplies, clothing, and tutoring assistance to ensure impoverished kids can thrive. Women participate in income-generating activities to support their families and escape poverty. Single mothers receive food to meet the nutritional needs of their children.

Morning Light holds a two-month summer camp for children with games, sports, and biblical truth each summer. Students can also participate in a new five-day program combining sports with Bible lessons.
